Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Aviation Safety Officer to develop, implement, and monitor Safety Management Systems across global aviation ops. This role emphasizes risk-based approaches, regulatory awareness, and proactive safety initiatives from a remote setting.

You will investigate incidents, conduct audits, and train staff while collaborating with teams worldwide to uphold safety culture and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety management or operations.
In-depth knowledge of SMS, risk assessment, and accident investigation techniques.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Safety Management System (SMS).
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of operations, facilities, and procedures.
Investigate aviation safety incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Develop and deliver safety training programs and materials to employees at all levels.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with aviation safety standards.
Analyze safety data to identify trends, assess risks, and implement proactive safety initiatives.
