Candidates should hold a Mechanical or Automotive Engineering degree with 7+ years in performance engineering. Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, MoTeC, and Vector is essential for remote collaboration and delivering

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
7+ years in automotive performance engineering.
Experience with vehicle dynamics, powertrain, and engine calibration.
Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, or similar.
Experience with data acquisition systems (MoTeC, Vector).
Strong thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and control systems knowledge.
Excellent analytics and remote collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently on complex projects remotely.

Responsibilities

Analyze performance data from simulations, tests, and real-world driving.
Develop strategies to enhance engine performance and drivability.
Run simulations and virtual tests to assess design changes.
Collaborate with design teams to translate requirements into vehicle attributes.
Design and oversee testing procedures including data acquisition.
Optimize vehicle dynamics: suspension, steering, braking.
Contribute to ADAS development from a performance perspective.
Stay updated on automotive engineering and simulation tech.
