Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Automotive Performance Engineer to join our advanced engineering team. This fully remote role focuses on optimizing vehicle performance through analysis and simulation, enabling work from anywhere.

You will develop and validate models for vehicle dynamics, run virtual tests, and collaborate with design teams to translate performance requirements into engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Extensive experience in automotive performance engineering or vehicle dynamics.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS for analysis and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize vehicle performance using simulation and data analysis.
• Develop and validate mathematical models for vehicle dynamics.
• Conduct virtual testing to predict performance under various conditions.
• Collaborate with design and testing teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings for performance improvements.
