Placements24 is seeking a remote Automotive Performance Engineer to analyze and optimize engine, chassis, and powertrain performance across platforms using simulations and real-world data. You will leverage advanced tools and modeling to drive peak performance from a fully remote location.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering with 5+ years in automotive performance, strong knowledge of ICEs and powertrains, and hands-on experience with ECU

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive performance engineering.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, powertrain systems, and vehicle dynamics.
• Proficiency with simulation software (GT-Power, AVL Cruise) and data acquisition systems.
• Experience with calibration tools and techniques for ECUs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This position requires a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics, thermodynamics, and control systems, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges from a remote location, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
