Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is required.
- Significant experience in automotive performance engineering, including calibration and tuning.
- Proficiency with engine simulation/modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains and vehicle dynamics.
- Experience with data acquisition systems and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and calibrate ECUs and PCMs for performance and efficiency.
- Analyze vehicle dynamics data to identify improvements in handling, braking and acceleration.
- Use simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink) to model and test performance strategies.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to meet performance targets.
- Conduct remote testing and validation of software updates and performance enhancements.
