Placements24 seeks a Senior Automotive Controls Engineer to join a fully remote team, driving development of advanced control systems for vehicle dynamics, powertrain, and driver assistance. You will design, simulate, implement, and test control algorithms to boost performance, safety, and efficiency in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on control systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive control system design and implementation.
- Expertise in control theory and its application in automotive systems.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and code generation.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols and embedded systems development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate advanced control algorithms for automotive applications (e.g., engine control, adaptive cruise control, stability control).
- Utilize modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) to develop and test control strategies.
- Implement control software in C/C++ for embedded automotive ECUs.
- Collaborate with system engineers and software developers to define control system requirements and interfaces.
- Perform system-level testing and validation, both in simulation and on vehicle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues, optimizing performance and reliability.
