Placements24 is seeking an experienced Audit Senior in Upington, Northern Cape, with strong IFRS/ISAs knowledge and a track record of managing audits from planning to completion. You will lead audits, supervise junior staff, and ensure high-quality output while adhering to professional standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Completion of articles and qualification as a CA(SA) or equivalent.
4–6 years of external audit experience.
Proven ability to manage audit engagements end-to-end.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISAs.
Proficiency in audit software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits for a portfolio of clients.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff.
Assess internal controls and perform risk assessments for audit engagements.
Develop and execute audit programs and procedures.
Prepare audit work papers, financial statements, and management letters.
Communicate audit progress, findings, and recommendations to clients.
Ensure compliance with ISAs and relevant regulations.
Identify and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues.
Manage audit engagement budgets and timelines.
Contribute to practice development and growth initiatives.
