Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Auditor to join our global internal audit team. This role will plan, lead, and execute audits across multiple business units, ensuring robust controls and risk management from a remote setting.

You will prepare concise audit reports, communicate findings to senior management and audit committees, and uphold rigorous audit standards while coordinating with auditees worldwide from Nelspruit-based operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional designation preferred.
• CA(SA), CIA, or CISA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in internal or external auditing.
• Strong understanding of COSO, risk assessment, and internal controls.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and audit management software.
• Excellent written and verbal remote reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audits remotely.

This role is responsible for planning and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits across various business units. You will assess internal controls, identify risks, and provide recommendations for process improvements. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-disciplined professional who excels in a remote work environment, capable of managing audit projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, and committed to upholding rigorous audit standards and best practices from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities
