Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Auditor to join our global internal audit team. This role will plan, lead, and execute audits across multiple business units, ensuring robust controls and risk management from a remote setting.

You will prepare concise audit reports, communicate findings to senior management and audit committees, and uphold rigorous audit standards while coordinating with auditees worldwide from Nelspruit-based operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional designation preferred.
• CA(SA), CIA, or CISA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in internal or external auditing.
• Strong understanding of COSO, risk assessment, and internal controls.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and audit management software.
• Excellent written and verbal remote reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audits remotely.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute internal audits according to the annual audit plan.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify and evaluate risks and recommend remediation actions to management.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit reports with actionable findings.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and audit committees.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with auditees across the organization.
