Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our Soweto, Gauteng practice. You will lead audits, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with ISA standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will supervise junior staff, contribute to business development, and stay current with auditing regulations. A CA(SA) or equivalent and 3+ years post-article experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing is required.
• Completion of articles and CA(SA) or equivalent is essential.
• 3+ years post-article external audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISAs and applicable legislation.
• Proficiency with audit software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise financial statement audits for diverse clients.
• Assess internal controls and identify improvements.
• Develop and manage audit plans to meet deadlines and optimize resources.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Communicate progress, findings, and solutions with clients.
