Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an eager and detail-oriented Intern Architectural Drafter to join their fully remote team. This internship offers hands-on experience in architectural drafting and modeling using AutoCAD and Revit, with collaboration from a supportive design group.

Based near Nelspruit for occasional collaboration, the role is remote with flexible schedule. Ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to build a foundation in architectural technology while contributing to real projects

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Architectural Technology or related program.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively online.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in architectural drafting.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior drafters and architects in creating detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop 3D models and visualizations based on design concepts and sketches.
• Prepare drawing sets for client presentations and permit applications.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
• Conduct research on building materials and systems as needed.
