Placements24 is seeking an Airline Fleet Manager to oversee the aircraft fleet remotely, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.

The role requires strategic leadership, collaboration with operations, maintenance, finance and legal teams, and a proven track record in fleet planning and regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on optimization and governance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in airline fleet management or senior asset/operations roles.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in aircraft financing and leasing.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, maintenance programs, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for the airline's fleet, covering acquisition, financing, and disposal.
• Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling to maximise fleet availability and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost and efficiency optimizations.
• Manage relationships with manufacturers, lessors, and maintenance providers.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams on leases, purchases, and filings.
