Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Fleet Manager to oversee national fleet operations from a remote base. You will lead maintenance programs, driver compliance, safety protocols, and cost-efficiency, ensuring the reliability and safety of transportation assets.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers, develop fleet strategies, monitor fuel consumption, and optimize routes while managing remote teams across the country.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fleet management.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety best practices.
• Experience in managing remote teams and operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis related to fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fleet management strategies to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs, and preventive care programs for the fleet.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Manage driver performance, training, and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor fuel consumption, optimize routes, and reduce operational costs.
• Analyze fleet data to identify trends and improve safety and utilization.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers for parts, maintenance, and equipment acquisition.
