Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Aircraft Dispatcher to join a globally connected aviation team. You will plan and monitor flight schedules, analyze weather and NOTAMs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across operations from a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate will have a dispatch license, 3+ years of experience, and strong proficiency in flight planning software, meteorology, navigation, and communications.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Dispatcher License or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft dispatching.
• Knowledge of flight planning, meteorology, navigation and aviation regulations.
• Proficiency in flight planning software and comms systems.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage responsibilities independently.
• Willingness to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with various aircraft types and their performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate flight schedules, considering weather, air traffic, and aircraft availability.
• Prepare flight plans, including route, altitude, fuel requirements, and contingency planning.
• Monitor flight progress and provide real-time updates and support to flight crews.
• Analyze weather forecasts and NOTAMs to ensure safe flight conditions.
