Placements24 seeks a Senior AI Ethics Officer for a fully remote role, driving the development and governance of AI ethics across the organization. You will craft policies, assess risks, and train teams to ensure responsible AI development and deployment.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree and 6+ years in AI ethics, with strong stakeholder engagement and regulatory awareness to support governance in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ethics, philosophy, law, CS, or policy with tech ethics focus.
• 6+ years in AI ethics, responsible tech or CSR related to AI.
• Strong knowledge of AI biases, fairness, privacy, accountability, transparency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AI ethics guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Conduct thorough ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI projects.
• Provide guidance and training to teams and leadership on AI ethics best practices.
• Monitor AI ethics regulations and advise on adaptations.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams for alignment.
