Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote AI Ethics Lead to establish and guide responsible AI practices across the organization. Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, CS or related social science with an AI focus
• 5+ years of experience in ethics, policy or compliance with an AI/tech focus
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their societal implications
• Experience developing ethical guidelines, impact assessments or governance frameworks
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive AI ethics framework and governance policies
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide mitigation recommendations
• Advise engineering and product teams on AI ethics in design and development
• Stay informed about global regulations and best practices in AI ethics
• Develop and deliver AI ethics training programs to employees
• Engage with external stakeholders, policymakers and academia on AI ethics topics
