Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics and Responsible AI Lead to guide ethical AI across the organization from a fully remote team.

You will establish governance, develop policies, train staff, monitor global regulations, and collaborate with researchers, legal, and executives to ensure fair, transparent, and accountable AI.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and at least seven years in AI ethics or policy, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in a relevant discipline such as Ethics, Law, Public Policy, CS, Philosophy or Sociology.
• 7+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology policy, or a related domain with leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning principles and their ethical implications.
• Experience in developing and implementing AI governance frameworks and ethical review processes.
• Strong understanding of global AI regulations, compliance requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI ethics vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company.
• Establish governance framework for responsible AI development and deployment, including guidelines and risk assessment methods.
• Lead cross-functional teams in conducting ethical impact assessments for AI systems.
• Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics and responsible AI principles.
• Monitor evolving AI ethics regulations and best practices globally and provide strategic recommendations.
