Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics and Governance Lead to establish responsible AI practices across the organization. This fully remote role will develop ethical frameworks, governance policies, and best practices for AI development and deployment.

You will collaborate with legal, engineering, data science, and business teams to ensure regulatory adherence and societal alignment, driving organizational change and a culture of responsible AI innovation.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a field with AI ethics or governance specialization.
• 7+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML and societal implications.
• Experience developing governance frameworks and policies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide AI ethics and governance framework.
• Assess ethical risk focusing on bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability.
• Oversee governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Establish mechanisms for ethical review and oversight of AI projects.
• Create and deliver training on AI ethics and responsible practices.
• Engage with regulators, academics, and industry peers.
• Monitor global AI ethics trends and advise leadership.
• Promote a culture of responsible AI innovation across the organization.
