Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethicist and Governance Specialist for a fully remote role. You will establish and oversee ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for AI development and deployment, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability across the AI lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree in ethics or a related field with a focus on AI, plus experience shaping governance frameworks and knowledge of data privacy laws.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in ethics or related field with AI focus.
Experience developing ethics guidelines or governance for AI.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and AI regulations.
Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive ethical frameworks for AI development and deployment.
Conduct ethical risk assessments and guide mitigation of biases and harms in AI.
Advise on regulatory compliance related to AI, data privacy, and fairness.
Collaborate with engineering, legal, and product teams to embed ethics into projects.
