Placements24 is seeking a principled and forward-thinking Remote AI Ethicist to guide the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies. You will develop ethical frameworks, conduct impact analyses, and provide expert guidance to ensure AI systems are fair, transparent, and beneficial to society.

This fully remote role allows collaboration with a diverse, global team and requires clear communication of complex ethics concepts to engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on technology ethics.
• Proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy analysis.
• Deep understanding of ethical theories, AI bias, fairness metrics, and accountability frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ethical guidelines for AI development and deployment.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses.
• Advise teams on ethical considerations, bias mitigation, and fairness in AI systems.
