Placements24 seeks an Agribusiness Development Manager to drive growth for a leading agri-tech client. This fully remote role is based from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, and requires strategic thinking, relationship-building with farmers and partners, and a strong commercial acumen.

You will identify opportunities, forge partnerships, and expand market reach while collaborating with cross-functional teams and traveling for key meetings as needed.

Qualifications

6+ years in business development, sales or strategic account management in agribusiness or agtech.
Proven track record in identifying and closing new opportunities.
Strong knowledge of agricultural markets and value chains.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate and develop new opportunities in the agribusiness sector.
Cultivate long-term relationships with farmers, partners and agencies.
Develop and execute strategic plans to hit sales and market expansion goals.
Lead negotiations and finalize contracts and partnerships.
Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams for market penetration.
