Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive enterprise-wide Agile transformation across a globally distributed workforce. The role emphasizes coaching, alignment, and measurable Agile outcomes while working remotely from South Africa or globally.

The successful candidate will lead multiple teams, facilitate ceremonies, and partner with product owners to optimize delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience with 5+ years in agile transformations.
• Proven track record scaling Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) across teams.
• Strong agile coaching and remote leadership skills.
• Solid SDLC knowledge and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise-wide agile transformation strategies.
• Coach leadership and teams on agile values and practices.
• Facilitate sprint rituals and ensure effective ceremonies.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and tools.
• Manage portfolio alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and remove impediments to adoption and performance.
• Develop training materials for coaching initiatives.
• Measure progress and report transformation outcomes.
• Foster transparency, collaboration and learning remotely.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to optimize delivery.
