Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead remote agile transformation efforts, driving adoption of Scrum and Kanban across distributed teams. You will define, implement and refine agile practices while coaching teams to achieve high performance and predictable delivery.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, continuous improvement, and optimizing development processes, offering flexible work arrangements and impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in project management, with at least 5 years in agile environments.
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects using agile methodologies.
• Deep understanding of agile principles, values, and frameworks.
• Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for remote settings.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or PMP-ACP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic implementation and ongoing management of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) across project teams.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans with product owners and stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor agile teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to drive adoption of agile practices.
• Facilitate all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Identify and remove impediments and foster open communication within distributed teams.
• Track agile metrics and report progress on team performance and transformation.
