Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This remote SA role requires B2B sales experience, 2 years in SDR/BDR, and strong written communication to personalize outreach using tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

B2B sales experience is preferred.
Two years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS exposure is a plus.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
