Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research, source and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches. This role is fully remote within SA with a focus on building pipeline for Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
