Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will be responsible for creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency through thoughtful outreach and high-quality communications.

Requirements include 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, familiarity with Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and Salesforce, and a proven ability to personalize

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
