Placements24 is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a remote AP team from Klerksdorp, North West. The role focuses on overseeing invoicing, payments, and expense processing while implementing efficient AP processes and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 5 years in AP with 2+ years in supervision, and proven ability to manage remote teams, with solid ERP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in accounts payable with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience leading remote teams and strong ERP/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Develop and maintain efficient AP processes and procedures.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, communication, and disputes.
• Oversee coding and entry of invoices into the accounting system.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls and accounting standards.
• Lead, train, and mentor remote AP staff.
• Prepare AP reports including aging, cash flow projections and spend analysis.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Process employee expense reports accurately and timely.
