Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote 5G Network Engineer to design, deploy and optimize cutting-edge 5G infrastructure. You will work from a home office while collaborating with experts to advance mobile communication technology.

You will design and deploy 5G elements, monitor performance, and collaborate on feature integrations, testing, and documentation. A strong background in 5G NR, NSA/SA and cloud-native VNFs/CNFs is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years in mobile network engineering, with 3+ years in 5G technologies.
• Strong understanding of 5G NR, NSA/SA architectures, cloud-native concepts and VNFs/CNFs.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy 5G network elements including RAN and core.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot and optimize for high availability and QoS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature testing and deployment strategies.
• Develop and maintain technical docs, network diagrams and procedures.
• Perform capacity planning and network expansion to meet demand.
• Stay updated with 5G advancements and industry standards.
