Job summary

Babble Cloud is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer to deliver world-class remote technical support. You will diagnose IT issues, document details in cases, and ensure SLA compliance while mentoring colleagues.

The role is home-based with strong emphasis on Microsoft 365, Azure, and network troubleshooting. Ideal candidates will have 2nd line Service Desk experience in an MSP environment, be able to work independently, and maintain high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

Previous experience working on a Service Desk as a 2nd Line Engineer is essential.
Experience in a managed services (MSP) environment is advantageous.
Proficiency across multiple technologies and the ability to manage difficult and sensitive technical issues.

Responsibilities

Operate as a desk‑based technician providing world‑class remote support and issue resolution within SLAs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose IT issues, maintaining documentation and updating technical records.
Mentor and train colleagues, and manage queue to meet and exceed customer expectations and SLAs.
Provide efficient support by promptly answering calls and documenting relevant details in cases.
Assist with monitoring and maintenance of client computer systems and networks.
