Halo Recruiting is hiring a Level 2 Infrastructure Engineer for a fully remote MSP role servicing US-based clients. The candidate will handle complex infrastructure, cloud, and networking issues, acting as a trusted escalation point and ensuring excellent client outcomes.

Ideal candidates have MSP experience, strong Windows Server and Azure skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with clear documentation and professional communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a MSP environment with hands-on infrastructure experience.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
• Strong networking skills (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switches) and backup/DR knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, professional client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for Level 1 technicians on infra, networking, cloud, and MS services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents across client environments.
• Support Windows Server, Azure, and cloud deployments across multiple clients.
• Manage endpoint security, backups, and disaster recovery platforms.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and environment changes with clarity.
• Participate in after-hours rotations as required and maintain ticket ownership.
• Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations and outcomes.
• Assist with deployments, migrations, and technology projects.
