Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is assisting with the recruitment of a Sales and Shipping Coordinator for a permanent, on-site role in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha. The successful candidate will manage relocations, quotations, and shipments from enquiry to completion while liaising with clients, agents and service providers.

The role requires strong client communication, organisational skills, and a driver’s licence, with experience in sales, operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Experience in Sales, Operations and Customer Service.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Good PC literacy.
• Sound geographical knowledge of relocations in the region.
• Sound organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with export clients regarding relocations.
• Prepare export documentation for clearing agents.
• Coordinate customs clearance, shipping and related procedures.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations for outbound and inbound shipments.
• Schedule packing, collection and shipment bookings.
• Liaise with shipping lines, agents and international partners.
• Conduct client surveys to assess volume and documentation needs.
• Handle sales viewings and costing and manage CRM records.
• Provide professional customer service and correspondence.
• Conduct regular client follow-ups and marketing calls.
• Maintain files for secured moves and attend job visits as required.
• Assist with international operations and accruals/tonnage reporting.
