Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to lead strategic sales with large industrial and municipal accounts in Mpumalanga. This field-based role requires strong business acumen, planning, and the ability to implement effective sales strategies.

You will own the full Hach portfolio from instrumentation to services, travel regionally, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value while driving growth and ensuring high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of regional sales experience in analytical instrumentation.
• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar preferred.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel long distances and lodge away from home (2–3 nights a month).
• Must reside in Mpumalanga province or nearby.
• Must have own vehicle with Code B license.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales territory and account plans to achieve targets.
• Forecast opportunities and manage funnel health.
• Visit clients weekly to drive strategy to action and build relationships.
• Understand portfolio applications and quote accordingly across industries.
