Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in sports management or operations.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, budget management, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of sports programming, facility management, and community outreach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for regional sports development and operations.
• Manage budgets, resources, and staff for all sports programs within the designated region.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimal utilization of sports facilities and equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local sports clubs, schools, and community organizations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures for sports activities.
• Organise and promote regional sporting events, tournaments, and leagues.
• Lead and mentor a team of sports coordinators and facility staff.
