Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Leisure and Sports Manager to oversee operations and programming at their Midrand facilities. You will develop innovative leisure activities, drive member engagement, and manage a dedicated team in a busy community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports management or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for all leisure and sports programs and events.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of sports facilities, including scheduling, maintenance, and resource allocation.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of sports instructors, coaches, and administrative staff.
• Create and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are utilized effectively.
• Foster partnerships with local sports clubs, schools, and community organizations to expand program reach and engagement.
• Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
