Job summary

Webfleet is seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to join our team in South Africa. You will be the primary technical contact in the region, collaborating with global HQ, delivering issue resolution, training partners, and supporting strategic initiatives.

You will lead technical leadership, training, partner onboarding, and cross-functional projects, working with sales, support, and product teams to ensure customer success and regional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or related field.
• 3+ years in technical sales or solutions engineering.
• Strong understanding of relevant technologies/products.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership and Support: act as main technical reference for customers and internal teams in SA and surrounding regions; troubleshoot issues and escalate to HQ when needed; oversee and facilitate customer cases across divisions.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: lead regional training for partners and customers; coordinate with global Sales Engineers for best practices.
• Partner Development and Integration: identify/onboard new installation partners; maintain relationships with existing partners; support setup/integration.
• Strategic Projects & Product Testing: drive market-specific initiatives; manage pilot product tests; coordinate with central product and value stream teams.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with regional sales, customer support, and operations; ensure technical alignment and customer satisfaction; communicate with central product teams.
