Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, systems engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar role.
• Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to translate client requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience with technical proposals, costing, quotations, or project scoping.
• Ability to interpret or develop basic technical drawings, layouts, or P&IDs.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development and lead generation.
• Able to manage multiple opportunities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their technical and business requirements.
• Conduct technical scoping and site assessments.
• Develop tailored system solutions and prepare professional proposals.
• Prepare BOMs, costings, pricing, technical scopes, and project timelines.
• Create or coordinate basic P&IDs, layouts, and system schematics.
• Present technical solutions and proposals to clients.
• Manage proposal revisions, negotiations, and follow-ups through to conversion.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and generate new business opportunities.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable.
• Maintain accurate CRM and proposal records while keeping administration to a minimum.
