Job summary

BevCo is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee and optimize regional production, quality control, and infrastructure across KwaZulu-Natal. You will drive end-to-end planning, material management, and adherence to GMPs while managing budgets and people in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Supply Chain, Logistics, and QA teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Post graduate Diploma and Professional Registration / NQF level 8 (Essential)
• Up to 8 years experience (Operational Execution) Manufacturing; Lean Manufacturing; Finance; Human Resources; Project Management
• MS Excel; SAP; MS PowerPoint; MS Word; E Mail

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in regional End-to-End Sales and Operational Planning Process
• Contribute to Material Planning and execution of Material Plan for region of responsibility
• Ensure Daily Production / Manufacturing Schedule aligns with customer requirements
• Work with Head of Supply Chain Planning and Regional Logistics Manager to guarantee order fulfilment in line with customer requirements, cost, quality and time parameters
• Sign-Off on the Master Production / Manufacturing Schedule
• Monitor Daily Production / Manufacturing Schedule to ensure timeous product delivery to customers
• Oversee end-to-end Production/Manufacturing process for relevant region
• Accountable for Raw Material Management, Raw Materials and Packaging (Receiving)
• Oversee quality assurance assessments and advise on corrective actions
• Ensure Infrastructure maintenance for optimal capacity usage and availability
• Monitor SHERQ Compliance in region of responsibility
• Drive adherence to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Standards
• Participate in budgeting and strategic planning
• Drive continuous improvement and streamline operational practices
• Manage cost drivers and mitigate financial risk
• Ensure right people capacity and performance management
• Enforce GMPs and food safety/health regulations
• Maintain hygiene standards and contamination control
• Follow incident reporting procedures for accidents
