PPS Recruitment is seeking a Branch Manager in KwaZulu-Natal to lead and motivate a Financial Advisory team within our Internal Distribution. You will drive sales targets, develop leaders, and ensure high standards of service in a fast-paced environment. South African citizenship and FAIS fit are required.

This hybrid role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage performance while aligning with PPS values and the distribution strategy.

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor’s degree is essential.
• An Honours degree and PPS membership would be preferably
• Certified Finance Planner would be advantageous
• Completed RE5 (Representative) certificate

The Internal Distribution team is looking for an individual to effectively lead, manage and motivate the Financial Advisors within their KwaZulu-Natal team to ensure performance targets are achieved in line with the Advice and Distribution Division's Strategy and in line with PPS values and culture.

Internal Distribution will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to be part of the Financial Advisory dynamic management team. We are looking for an established individual with leadership experience who can operate within a dynamic, fast paced, performance driven environment.

The scope of this role is to manage direct sales for PPS Internal Distribution. He/she is responsible for managing and training Financial Advisors and achieving sales targets for the team/branch. The Financial Advisors are long term insurance and investments focused and make referrals to the Short Term Insurance division including Health Professions Indemnity (HPI), in-house Fiduciary Services department and medical aid subsidiary Profmed. The Financial Advisor role generates its own leads for client prospecting.

Formal Qualifications:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree is essential
• An Honours degree and PPS membership would be preferably
• Certified Finance Planner would be advantageous
• Completed RE5 (Representative) certificate

Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 2 years Sales Management experience in Sales and Distribution within the Financial Services
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Insurance product sales or advice
• Proven track record in people management and leading a sales team
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• The establishment of a good network and collaborative relationships to support the achievement of sales targets
• Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop people

This is a branch manager hybrid position within a tied agency.

The individual must be a South African citizen to be considered.

The individual must be a FAIS fit and proper key individual with clear criminal and credit records.

Supervisory process must be completed in the categories and sub-categories of the 1044 licence.
