Job summary

Glacier Invest, part of Sanlam Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Pretoria to expand our intermediary network and grow regional investment flows. You will drive strategic initiatives, manage key relationships, and support education initiatives for advisers.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver client solutions, maintain a strong opportunity pipeline, and contribute to Glacier Invest’s profitability in the region.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager in Asset Management.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g. BCom).
• Postgraduate qualification (e.g. CFP) and existing network advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle; travel across area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of investment intermediaries.
• Increase Glacier Invest’s retail market share and execute strategy.
• Collaborate with National Sales Manager and broader Sanlam sales ecosystem to deliver regional client strategies.
• Develop and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline and report on activity.
• Support intermediary education and capability building.
