Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, and related markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, contractors, consultants, and OEMs.
• Promote and sell electrical products, components, equipment, and technical solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and sales meetings.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable electrical engineering solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and technical documentation.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in line with company objectives.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting through to closing deals and after-sales support.
• Provide technical advice and product support to customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities within the region.
• Achieve sales targets, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and report on regional performance.
• Collaborate with internal technical, engineering, procurement, and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer networking opportunities.
• Travel within the assigned region as required.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng, BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant electrical qualification.
• Proven experience in technical sales, electrical sales, or sales engineering within the electrical or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical products, systems, components, or industrial electrical applications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage existing customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to identify customer needs and develop appropriate solutions.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
