Placements24, on behalf of a prominent FMCG beverage company, seeks a Regional Sales Manager to oversee Port Elizabeth and Eastern Cape operations. You will lead a high-performing sales team, drive market share, and deliver growth across retailers, distributors and wholesalers.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years in FMCG sales, including 3 in management. You will forecast, strategize, coach teams, travel extensively, and ensure ethical selling practices; a company vehicle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 6 years sales experience with at least 3 in management.
- Proven FMCG/beverage sector experience.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Responsabilités
- Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet/exceed targets.
- Lead and coach a sales team, providing training and performance reviews.
- Grow key accounts and expand distribution in ETA region.
- Build relationships with retailers, distributors and wholesalers.
- Analyze market trends and report to senior management.
- Oversee promotions, budgets and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to align strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical practices.
