• Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.

This role is essential for the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration units critical to various industries, including food processing, retail, and manufacturing. A strong technical background in refrigeration, coupled with excellent diagnostic abilities, is paramount. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, chillers, and display cases.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex refrigeration system malfunctions using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Service and repair components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with a strong focus on commercial and industrial applications.
• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is essential.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of refrigeration equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with refrigerant handling, recovery, and evacuation procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
