About the Role

Our client, a well-established entity in the industrial services sector based in Rustenburg , North West, is currently looking for a qualified Refrigeration Technician. This role is essential for the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration units critical to various industries, including food processing, retail, and manufacturing. A strong technical background in refrigeration, coupled with excellent diagnostic abilities, is paramount. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, chillers, and display cases.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex refrigeration system malfunctions using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, with a strong focus on commercial and industrial applications.

• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
