The successful candidate will work independently, manage their own schedule, and communicate findings clearly through detailed service reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified technician with specific training or certification in Commercial Refrigeration.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of refrigeration equipment from different manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, thermodynamics, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and cooling systems.
• Diagnose system malfunctions, including refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, and control issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Evacuate systems, charge with refrigerant, and ensure environmental compliance.
• Read and interpret refrigeration schematics and manuals.
• Replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and control boards.
• Provide detailed service reports documenting work performed and parts used.
