Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Consultant for its Construction and Property division in Mahikeng, North West. The role operates on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration with remote work to source and place professionals from site engineers to project managers.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build strong client relationships, and stay informed on market trends and salary benchmarks to meet placement targets and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in recruitment, preferably in construction, engineering or property.
• Ability to source and engage candidates for technical and managerial roles.
• Strong understanding of construction/property markets and roles.

About the Role

Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their specialist Construction and Property division. This role, based in Mahikeng, North West , operates on a hybrid model, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for sourcing and placing a wide range of professionals, from site engineers and project managers to quantity surveyors and property developers, within key industry players. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and attract skilled professionals for roles within the construction and property sectors.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews and reference checks, to ensure suitability for technical and managerial positions.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for clients in the construction and property industries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their project pipelines and talent needs.
• Source candidates through industry networks, professional bodies, specialist job boards, and direct outreach.
• Stay informed about market trends, new projects, and developments within the construction and property sectors.
• Achieve and exceed agreed-upon placement targets and revenue goals.
• Provide market insights and advice to clients on talent availability and salary benchmarks.
• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Utilize the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment databases effectively.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably with a specialization in Construction, Engineering, or Property.
• Proven ability to source and engage candidates for technical and managerial roles in these sectors.
• Strong understanding of the construction and property markets, including typical roles and required skill sets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with recruitment software and ATS.
• A results-driven and proactive approach to recruitment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Property Development, Engineering, HR, or Business is advantageous.
• Resilience and adaptability to the project-driven nature of the industry.
