Recruitment Consultant position available in Johannesburg.
The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding business requirements and developing sourcing strategies through to candidate appointment and onboarding.
The role partners closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to attract, source and secure high-quality talent while providing market insight and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Salary: R30 000 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment process for assigned vacancies.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Source, screen and assess candidates across a variety of roles.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future recruitment requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback, reference checks and pre-employment vetting.
- Support offer management and maintain candidate engagement through to appointment and onboarding.
- Stakeholder & Candidate Management
- Build credible and effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates and senior stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner to the business.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, remuneration trends and recruitment challenges.
- Maintain a strong candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain professional networks within the property sector.
- Sourcing & Talent Attraction
- Utilise job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals and other sourcing channels to identify suitable candidates.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for specialised and hard-to-fill positions.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing effectiveness and recruitment outcomes.
- Contribute to employer branding, talent attraction and broader HR initiatives.
- Participate in relevant recruitment and industry engagements where required.
- Recruitment Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular recruitment reporting and updates.
- Ensure recruitment practices are fair, consistent and aligned with applicable legislation and internal policies.
- Support employment equity objectives throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure recruitment systems, applicant tracking systems and digital sourcing tools are effectively utilised.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 4-5 Years' relevant recruitment experience.
- Experience gained across both recruitment agency and in-house corporate recruitment environments would be advantageous.
- Experience within the property industry, or sourcing and recruiting for property-related positions, would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Proven experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals and other channels.
- Experience using recruitment systems, applicant tracking systems and digital sourcing tools.
- Sound understanding of relevant employment legislation, employment equity principles and recruitment compliance.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and talent-market dynamics.
- Property industry and property talent-market knowledge would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain credible relationships with candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
- Strong market insight, networking and relationship-building capabilities.
