About the Role

Our client, a prominent real estate investment group, is actively seeking a driven and results-oriented Real Estate Acquisition Specialist to join their fully remote acquisition team. This role is crucial for identifying, evaluating, and securing promising real estate investment opportunities across diverse markets. Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source and identify potential off-market and on-market real estate acquisition opportunities through various channels, including networking, direct outreach, and market research, focusing on areas relevant to Port Elizabeth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, brokers, wholesalers, and other key industry contacts to generate deal flow.
• Conduct initial due diligence and preliminary financial analysis on prospective acquisitions, assessing feasibility and potential ROI.
• Prepare investment summaries and present acquisition recommendations to the investment committee.
• Negotiate purchase agreements and guide properties through the initial stages of the acquisition process.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including legal and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient transaction execution.
• Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact real estate acquisition strategies.
• Maintain an organized database of leads, deals, and market intelligence.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of acquisition strategies and criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, sourcing, or investment analysis.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and securing real estate deals.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation principles and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity in a remote setting.
