About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding real estate investment group, is actively seeking a proactive and experienced Real Estate Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Vereeniging, Gauteng . This role is central to identifying, evaluating, and securing new investment properties across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial. You will be responsible for conducting thorough market research, performing due diligence, negotiating purchase agreements, and managing the acquisition process from initial contact through to closing. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Gauteng real estate market, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities. This is a critical position requiring initiative, strategic thinking, and a commitment to driving growth within the company's property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source potential investment properties through various channels, including market analysis, broker relationships, and off-market opportunities within Gauteng .
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial analysis, property inspections, title searches, and zoning reviews.
• Prepare detailed financial models and investment analysis reports for prospective acquisitions.
• Negotiate purchase prices, terms, and conditions with sellers and their representatives.
• Manage the entire acquisition process, ensuring timely and efficient closing of deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate brokers, property owners, attorneys, and other industry professionals in the Vereeniging area.
• Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting real estate investments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal and finance departments, to facilitate smooth transactions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or commercial real estate brokerage. Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing real estate acquisition deals, preferably within the Gauteng market. Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with valuation software is a plus. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as required.
