Placements24 is seeking a strategic Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives for a manufacturing operation in Mahikeng, North West. You will drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS, ensuring compliance with standards and customer expectations across the site.

The role requires 7+ years in QA/Quality Management, strong leadership, and expertise in ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in Quality Assurance/Management in manufacturing.
• Proven experience developing and implementing a QMS (ISO 9001).
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and SPC.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with regulatory audits and compliance.
• Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.

About the Role

Our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Production sector, is seeking a strategic and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to spearhead their quality initiatives from Mahikeng, North West. This senior position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of quality assurance principles, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving quality improvements within manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing QMS (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and auditing processes.
