About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is actively searching for a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Randburg, Gauteng . This crucial position involves establishing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems across all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a rigorous approach to quality control, and the ability to lead a team dedicated to ensuring product excellence. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in quality standards, minimizing defects, and ensuring that all products meet stringent internal and external specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Oversee all quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and validation processes throughout the production cycle.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams to ensure quality is integrated into product design and manufacturing processes.
• Manage product non-conformance and customer complaint resolution processes.
• Stay abreast of the latest quality management techniques, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific or technical field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing), and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality audits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with international quality standards is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to drive quality initiatives and achieve tangible improvements.
